The two asuras Shumbh and Nishumbh attacked the Devlok and they both defeated Indra during the battle. For seeking help, Indra praised Maa Parvati, the one who created Chandi. Now Shumbha and Nishumbha send Chandi to defeat Chandi.

Chandi asked Mata Kalratri to defeat Chanda and Munda. Now there comes the Demon Raktabeej. He reborns as when each drop of his blood touches the ground. Understanding this, Mata Kalratri drank each drop of blood of Raktabeej to stop him from multiplying.

This is how Mata Kalratri killed the demon Shumbha and Nishumbha and brought freedom to devlok. Such a brave and great impression which Maa Kalratri puts on us.

This was all about Mata Kalratri Puja Vidhi and mantras.
