Hariyali Amavasya 2024
Hariyali Amavasya is a hindu religion festival which is celebrated during Amavasya time in the Sawan month. It is the Shravan month as per the hindu calendar. It is the month where the monsoon begins with greenery all around.
During this time, women take rounds of the peepal trees and pray there. They offer prashad by cooking Malpua. There are various temples including Vrindavan and Mathura where special darshan is organised on this day.

The Shubh Yog i.e the auspicious time of Hariyali Amavasya time will remain till 12:11 PM. The Siddhi Yog will begin at 07:06 PM on 31st of July and will remain till 03:16 PM on 1st of August.
The Amrita Siddhi Yog, along with the Sarvartha Siddhi Yog, and Guru Pushya Yog, all the three Yogs will begin at 06:18 AM on 1st of August and will remain till 12:11 PM on the first of August. Hariyali Amavasya has a new moon as it falls between July and August as per the English calendar. Same as other Amavasya, it has great religious values in Hindu culture.
