Gir Somnath Jyotirlinga , one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India is situated in Gujarat and is one of the most famous Shiva temples among the devotees. Its timeline is estimated to be 649 BC but It is older than that. The Somnath temple has been attempted to be demolished almost 17 times and still holds its ground firmly while maintaining the belief of seekers.
